この度、当劇場芸術監督の勅使川原三郎が「ヴェネツィア・ビエンナーレ2022」にて金獅子功労賞を受賞することが発表されましたのでお知らせします。

2022年度には、勅使川原芸術監督が構成・演出・振付を担うダンス公演『風の又三郎（大ホール）』、監督自身が出演するダンスとライブ音楽のコラボレーション公演『天上の庭（コンサートホール）』を9月に開催予定です。

　

＜受賞のコメント＞

日々の空の変化の下で、私たちは自然の動き以上に確証のない人生を生きています。
それは矛盾と対立なしに成り立たないことは確かです。
人々が信頼し合うこと、そして尊敬し合うことによってしかその矛盾を受け入れることはできないでしょう。
喜びと共に矛盾し、他者との違いを受け入れる時、私たちは喜びを感じることができるのだと思います。
小さな小道に差し込む陽の光や、入り組んだ小さな水路から反射する月の光は思いもかけない贈り物になることがあります。
今私が知らせを受けた金獅子賞の眩しさは、私が今まで出会った全ての人々に注がれるべきものです。

Like the ever-changing phase of the sky, we live a life more unstable than nature itself.
It will never be without contradiction nor conflict.
Respect and trust among each other, are the only things to allow us to accept these contradictions.
When approaching contradiction with curiosity, and accepting the differences among others, only then can we feel true joy.
A ray of sun penetrating through a small path, or a faint reflection of moonlight through a labyrinth of canals, reward us with unexpected gifts.
The reflection of the Golden Lion Prize that I just received, should be shone upon everyone I have ever met.
